After the Fourth of July, the fireworks will continue on their stage all summer long, as they celebrate our wonderful country with this fun and uplifting new musical. Along with a tremendously talented cast, this lively show will have beautiful sets and costumes, as well as the phenomenal musicians in their on stage orchestra, playing all of that great music live, and filling you with renewed national pride!

Day 1…Elkins WV…We will arrive at our hotel to check in and have a brief rest before departing for dinner. After dinner you’re in for a treat at The Greatest Show on Rails… This 90 minute live show. Their show is like a virtual train trip across the US. With stops in places like Memphis where you’re entertained by Elvis, or Detroit with Aretha Franklin, or California with the Beach Boys. With plenty of stops to keep you entertained.

Cass Scenic Railroad Shay’s #5 and #4 double                      head through the town of Cass.

Day 2.The Cass Mountain Railway…is nestled in the mountains of West Virginia where we take an excursion that transports you back in time to relive an era when steam-driven locomotives were an essential part of everyday life. A visit to the National Radio Astronomy Observatory in the mountainous area of WVA. This is where the largest fully steerable telescope in the country is located. At 485 feet tall and weighing 17 million pounds it’s the largest moving structure on land. It features clear optics and a computer controlled reflecting surface of 2.3 acres in area! It is fast becoming one of the county’s most popular destinations for individuals and groups of all ages!

Day 3…We need to be at the train depot at 10:30.  The New Tygart Flyer leaves from the restored Station at 11 am. . This train ride features two separate mountain grades, an “S” curve tunnel, passage into a 1,500 feet deep canyon with steep, densely forested slopes, and a high bridge over the rushing Shavers Fork of the Cheat River. A cold sandwich lunch buffet is served on the outbound trip and cookies or brownies for dessert on the inbound trip.  Dinner tonight is at the Gandy Dancer Theatre…Where we will sit down to a meal while enjoying a brand new show, Branson Style.

Day 4…We have packed a lot into this tour and today is no exception.    morning we return to the Gandy Dancer Theatre for a one hour tribute to Musical Legends. Then the journey home will take us through the beautiful rugged and wild Monongahela National Forest. Here you will get a glimpse of the wild side of West Virginia. Along the way we will see a little of the technical side, with the large windmill farms high on the mountains that we will pass close by.

Children and adults alike can visit the menagerie for free and even purchase cups of food to feed the animals. A wildlife exhibit houses African and North American animals. Fantastic Fall Foliage of Vermont Tour – 5 Days

We would stay at the Crumpin~Fox Inn Bernardston MA. Cliff and Ann Kaiser are the innkeepers and are old and trusted friends. They do a great job of hosting tours for us and you are in for a real treat. We have been there many times in the past and can assure you of a great time, where you are treated like royalty. Everything is included, 11 meals, all the events and a tour guide. Check out the website to see just how nice it is. Just before we arrive at the Inn we begin the activities with a stop at the Kringle Candle Company, the son of the original founder of Yankee Candle. Then arrive to a red carpet greeting at the Inn at Crumpin-Fox and a wine and cheese orientation in the Hospitality Room. Dinner will be served in our Hospitality Room. After Dinner enjoy a relaxing evening playing games in the Hospitality Room; relax in the courtyard, throwing horseshoes, just or resting

Day 2…Tuesday
After Breakfast at the Inn we will depart for a visit to the Rock of Ages Granite Quarry manufacturing center and visitor center. We will have a picnic lunch here. Then it’s on to the famous Cabot Creamery with all those free samples. Dinner tonight at the Inn, with a musical evening in the Hospitality Room


Day 3 Wednesday After breakfast at the Inn we start today with a train ride on the Hobo Railroad along Lake Winnipesaukee.

Then we enjoy a relaxing boat cruise on the MV Mount Washington the picturesque Lake Winnipesaukee. Dinner at the Inn with another musical evening in the Hospitality Room.

Day 4…Thursday after breakfast at the Inn we depart for the Cathedral of the Pines, a memorial for our fallen heroes. Enjoy lunch at the Cathedral before heading out to the Friesians of Majesty Horses. We will tour the stables, enjoy a carriage ride, and witness a wonderful demonstration of these truly majestic horses. Dinner at the Inn and a musical evening follows.

Day 5…Friday after a final breakfast at the Inn we depart for home. But wait it’s not over yet! On the way home we enjoy a stop at the Magic Wings Butterfly Conservatory; butterflies and much more await us.

Montreal & Quebec City Canada 6 Days

There are two official languages in Canada: English and French. This tour visits Montreal, the largest French speaking city in the world after Paris, and Quebec City. Quebec. English spoken everywhere on this tour.

Montreal Quebec…Our guide for today will meet us at the hotel for a full day tour of area. In the morning we depart from the hotel for a 3 hour city tour of Montreal with our step-on guide. See Place Ville-Marie (where the Underground city began), Notre Dame Cathedral in Old Montreal, Olympic Stadium, Mount Royal and St. Joseph’s Shrine. Admission to Notre Dame is included. We depart for Quebec City after lunch.


Quebec City, Quebec…Arrive at our Hotel  While in the area we will tour Ste Anne de Beaupre and Quebec City which includes viewing the Plains of Abraham, the Citadelle,  and the narrowest street in North America. You’ll also explore the mysteries of North America’s only walled city. A stop at Montmorency Falls which is 1.5 times higher than Niagara Falls. Then its off to visit the Copper Studio. After leaving the studio we arrive at Marie’s Bread Oven. There is a 150 bread oven and stone dwelling dating back to 1652. You will taste a slice of fresh bread with maple butter. The Woodcarvers Museum is our next stop. This is an introduction to Quebec Legends presented by one of the workshop animators, and a visit to the famous Ste. Anne de Beaupre Shrine is included.

Alexandria Bay NY, Captain Thompsons and the Thousand Islands. Boldt Castle You may even get to see freighters as they will quietly pass right by your room on the river. A boat ride to , built at the turn-of-the-century that was never finished. For 73 years, the castle was left to the mercy of the elements and vandals. The Thousand Islands Bridge Authority acquired the property in 1977. It was decided that through the use of all net revenues from the castle operation, it would be preserved for the enjoyment of future generations.

Uncle Sam’s Boat Tours…This international tour offers close-up enjoyment of historic and scenic wonders in both Canadian and American sections of the 1000 Islands. Professional guides unfold a colorful historical presentation of the area, and the magnificent homes that you’ll view on this special tour.

Oaks PA, The American Treasure Tour…is an all indoor massive collection of Americana from antiques to kitsch to pop culture. Two of their major exhibits are mechanical music and classic preserved automobiles. The mechanical music display includes hundreds of machines such as nickelodeons, band organs and music boxes. In addition to seeing the sights you will hear the great sounds of the music of days gone by. Additionally they have a jam packed display of animated store window advertising, dolls, doll houses, model airplanes, circus, patriotic, holiday items and many surprises. Group tours ride the tram to experience the vast collection as well as enjoy a seated presentation in the Music Room. It is always a great day at the American Treasure Tour! Come join the fun.
This place will absolutely amaze you. The total experience is divided in to three areas: The Vintage Car Collection, The Toy Room & Kaliope Annex, and The Nickelodeon Room. These are world-class collections both in rarity and volume. The effort to maintain all of the musical entertainment in operating condition is a feat unto itself. And remember to keep looking up as you pass through the rooms of the tour in order to capture the advertising signs of bygone eras and the remote controlled airplanes. This tour will take us to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg TN. While they have just survived a horrendous fast moving fire, the tourist area was spared.  All the favorite spots we plan to visit are still there and intact.  Join us for this scenic and entertaining tour. Included will be a guided tour into the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

Patty Waszak…The first of many shows we will see is at the at the Country Tonite Theatre.  It is a high energy, heartwarming variety show featuring a wide variety of music including big band favorites, polkas, 50s and 60s rock “n” roll, country music, 70s disco, show tunes & patriotic hits as well.


Another show, and one of my favorites, is the Country Tonite Theatre, winner of many awards.  This show has it all with singing, dancing, comedy, gospel, patriotic, and country.  Smith Morning Variety Show at The Smoky Mountain Opry Theater. Charlie Bob Smith formerly with the Grand Majestic Theater, is starring in this all new show.  He brings his unique mix of country, pop and gospel hits to the stage as well as his world-class impersonations.  Also appearing with Charlie Bob is nationally known comedian Billy Baker and a multi-talented cast of singers, dancers and musicians.
Music Mansion Show…Formally the Smokey Mountain Opry is the area’s largest musical variety show starring a talented cast of singers, dancers, aerialists, comedians and musicians!  The family entertainment show includes all different types of music:  country hits, both old and new, today’s pop, the best of Broadway, 60’s review, gospel and patriotic music, and sidesplitting comedic juggling;

The Smoky Mountain Opry has it all! The Hatfield and McCoy Dinner Show in Pigeon Forge TN, is a hilarious family-friendly hit production inspired by real-life events. Restrooms are on the upper and lower decks. The main deck restrooms are handicap accessible.
